Flunch - Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez

After finishing shopping pop in here for a lovely lunch. Self service with main dishes cooked to order and then help yourself from the wide range of vegetables The staff are friendly. Free water with ice available.

We visited the Flunch restaurant which is inside the Super U supermarket after shopping, and as we had been to the one in Calais before we knew a little of the system. You can first get your trays, cutlery etc. order and pay from the selection of cooked meals on display above the tills, or your choice of salads etc. from the shelves. Then take your ticket/receipt to the chefs who will cook your meat/fish choice and then you can then help yourself to as much veg etc as you like from the separate counter. The four of us 2 adults and 2 15 year olds all had a cooked meal with drinks for 35€.

Flunch here means lunch. Nothing happening after 14:00. When you are on holiday and or shopping near Flunch, meeting their narrow opening times can be a challenge

I recommend it. steak always very tender, as well as other meats and vegetables, of good quality.
