The staff here is very nice and the food is fantastic! The cakes are incredible and always fresh. The lady manager is consistently sweet and friendly, ensuring that our dining experience is top-notch. The prices are reasonable too. We really miss the free dessert deal on Wednesdays that they used to offer! The servers are always excellent as well! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Village Inn:
I'm not saying it's bad, but in a town like this there are a lot better options for the same price. Blackbear Diner is a great option, same with Bishop's, Wagon wheel, George's, St Helens... The list goes on. View all feedback.
Good food at a very reasonable price. The service wa quick and friendly. The Strawberry and Banana Fench Toast was delicious and fresh. The sausage biscuits and gravy was very good. The sausage patties were a bit salty, but still good. The pies look delicious too! We'll definitely be back for breakfast and maybe to try a lunch too!
Years ago, Village Inn was my goto place. My friends and I would spend hours there. A lot of good experiences. This restaurant brought them all back. Waiter was quick, polite and professional. Took our order and food came out pretty fast. Everything was delicious. I ordered the skillet breakfast. Flavorful and hot. My son got eggs, pancakes and bacon, which was a little burnt but he still ate it. All in all, a good place still.
The food was okay. The portions were small. There was no line or waiting time.
Food is tasty! I had the half pound chicken fried steak and eggs. The hashbrowns were nice and crispy, steak was thick and the breading was flavorful. Eggs were overcooked but not to bad (it was a little busy and it happens). Food get 4 stars. The service was not great. The hostess was very nice and took my drink order (coffee and water) and delivered it as well (5 stars to her). The waitress was not great. She took my order and I never saw her again till she dropped off my food and again when she dropped off the check. I waited for the better part of 30min for a to go box that never came. I had to find someone just so I can pay for my meal. My card sat on the table next to the check the entire time. The other thing that bothered me was that my waitress was in the kitchen being g very vocal about how rude and mean the customers were/are. Now, I am a very nice person. Please, thank you, yes please and no thank you are a regular part of my life. Having been a server before, I know what stress some are under and I would always be forgiving of poor service under certain circumstances. This was not one of those times. There was another waitress who had accused a bus boy of potentially stealing a $10 bill. This happens, but that is a conversation that should not be taking place within earshot of the dining room. That was very disappointing. I would come here again....for the food. Not the service
