What Dana Hahn doesn't like about Ahi's Fresh Wok Jiuba:
Had the Japanese Spicy Noodle... Noodles were boiled over waaaaaay (only a mass of overcooked pasta/sludge and veg) and were not boiled with spices. Spicy was a seperate cup (Siracha like) sauce that was not cooked with other stir fry items. Delightful lack of taste. I was also asked to pay in advance, but no online ordering option offered. I wouldn't go anywhere, instead of paying via the phone with CC (before order... View all feedback.

Service was a 4, but food, definitely a 3. For the highest spinach salad ordered, but get the spinach salad. I only noticed it halfway. It was good. Ginger Dressing is better than ethyl acetate. We ordered potstickers and didn't get them until we remembered them after we got the food. She was gracious and admitted she forgot. They were deep fried, not damped. The taste was good. Chow my noodles are not better than Panda. Wouldn't go back.
I've been coming to Ahi's for years since it started as Gimme Sum. My wife and I went in recently and were super bummed to firstly find out that it is a full service restaurant now. We much preferred the fast casual setup. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai which is my usual and not sure what happened to the recipe, but it was the worst Pad Thai I've ever had in my life. It was explained that with the new ownership, the recipes had to change which seems to me like a huge mistake. The waiter was nice enough to let me order something else from the menu at no charge. What I ended up with was definitely much better, however without the old Pad Thai recipe, I doubt I'll be back. To top it off, the price of our meal was near 60 bucks which is about 20 more than we used to spend. Hopefully the new owners can iron everything out, but for now, we'll find other options.
Not good at all. I usually don?t make review, but this place I would like to make a review so that people don?t make mistake as I did (I saw a review somewhere they have the best pho in this town, and apparently it was not . I ordered Veggie pho, and I don?t wanna even call it as ?pho?. The noodles were overcooked. When I grabbed the noodle, it just broke apart. My husband ordered pad Thai, and it was extremely salty, overcooked noodle. It was just awful. We barely ate. Also, overpriced as well : The employees were nice tho!
Came for dinner, and the place seemed to be an alternate to Panda Express. Definitely not authentic, but there were a decent amount of choices at a relatively affordable price. The food was relatively healthy. None of the meat was deep fried and contained a large amount of fresh vegetables. Not a bad choice if you are not necessarily looking for authentic Asian food with healthy options.
