Large department store with a fair amount of choice. However, asking customers to only take five items into the fitting room and then get dressed again to retri... read more Large department store with a fair amount of choice. However, asking customers to only take five items into the fitting room and then get dressed again to retrieve five more items from a bag next to the sales assistant is really discouraging when you're taking a lot of clothes. The excuse given was that there had been thefts and that people were leaving wearing stolen and therefore concealed clothing. Except that the sales assistant never checked what I was bringing back, nor what was left in the bag; she was often standing behind me anyway. So the excuse of wanting to prevent theft is rather flimsy in the end, because apart from annoying customers, it serves no purpose. Oh well, next time I'll order online and never mind brick-and-mortar stores.
