What User doesn't like about La Boulangerie du Village St-Donat:
Look at the menu. Children wanted pizza. Really not. You asked for a club sandwich. They asked for a smoked meat, they said no bread. A little. Asked for a Pepperoni Steak Sub, all dressed. They say this is extra. I said what? You said yes for $15 you only get steak and pepperoni and mushrooms if you want cheese and salad and tomatoes, it is much extra. At least paid. It's sucked. Unfortunately, I only had the opportunity to stop by for a coffee at this restaurant, but it was fantastic! Everything looked amazing. The coffee was top-notch and despite the staff being very busy, they were still very friendly and accommodating.
This charming neighborhood bakery offers a variety of sweet and savory options. The lunch specials, which include a sandwich, soup or salad, and dessert or drink, are a great deal at $10.95. The specialty sourdough breads with cranberry, dark chocolate, or walnuts and raisins are dense and tasty. The chocolate croissants and date squares are also delicious. Although it took a bit of time for our americanos to be made, they were worth the wait as they were very good.
Just the great place to stop by for a lunch, coffee, snack. Seems it’s a popular place for locals. Good price! Clean washroom! Just everything you expect for a break during a trip.
We loved this place, lots of breads, sandwiches and desserts. Always fresh and the personal is very friendly!
Has a lot of selection. At the front of the cafe you have options of pastries. Towards the back there is more lunch options such as soups and sandwiches. The pastries are amazing and so if the coffee. It spacious and great service.
