Tried the Multigrain bread as well as the 'Jack ' sourdough bread. They were excellent...a rare complement on my part. Service at the bread counter was nice. I would suggest that they would benefit from a numbered system...the line system totally failed when waiting for our turn to order. View all feedback.
What Toni Crooks doesn't like about Bistro du Coin:
The waitress is the unfriendliest person I have ever met. We had to seat ourselves, my wife had to get the menus for us. Once we decided what we wanted she kept looking and not coming to take out order. We walked out after we noticed how mean she was being to other customers. Don't go there, rather go to the ohana Cafe down the street. View all feedback.
The restaurant offers fantastic set menus at a great value. For $12-14, diners can select from a variety of delicious gourmet sandwiches, soups or salads, and a beverage or dessert. The sandwiches feature a wonderful assortment of breads, meats, and cheeses. The desserts are exceptional as well.
This charming bakery offers a variety of sweet and savory options. Their lunch specials, which include a sandwich, soup or salad, and a dessert or drink, are a great deal at $10.95. The sourdough specialty breads, such as cranberry, dark chocolate, and walnut raisin, are exceptionally dense and tasty. Their chocolate croissants and date squares are also delicious. Although it took a bit of time for our americano coffees to be prepared, they were worth the wait and tasted great.
This restaurant is the perfect spot to grab lunch, coffee, or a snack. It seems to be popular among locals and offers good prices. The washroom is clean and the overall experience is exactly what you would hope for during a break on your trip.
Has a lot of selection. At the front of the cafe you have options of pastries. Towards the back there is more lunch options such as soups and sandwiches. The pastries are amazing and so if the coffee. It spacious and great service.
Amazing hidden gem in St-Donat! Stopped by to pick up a couple of sandwiches before a hike and am now disappointed I don’t live closer! Very friendly staff serving high-quality bakery items at a reasonable price. We ended buying croissants and baguettes, both were delicious. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
