I tried the loose meat sandwiches, the 'Cheese-Rite', onion rings, and cheese fries, and everything was delicious. The atmosphere has a charming old-town vibe, and it was well-maintained for a Saturday afternoon. The owner was present and was quick and courteous with his service. I've been coming here for years, and was disappointed when they closed the Minnetonka and Waite Park locations. But I'm back! On Monday, April 2, everything was great as usual!

It's definitely an acquired taste since it's a loose beef sandwich, but it's hands down the best you'll find. The fries are served hot and crispy, and the gentleman who works there is really friendly and always prepares the food fresh.

Excited this place was still here hope it will continue to serve local clientele travelers for years to come. My Maid-Rite sandwich was perfect! The loose meat, onions, mustard pickles were piled high on a fresh bun. I also enjoyed an order of onion rings. The light breading that covered the sweet rings of onions was deep fried to a golden brown. I also tried a mint flavored milkshake. It could have used a little more mint flavoring, but was good just the same. The man who waited on us couldn't have been more pleasant. The tables were nice clean. The overall appearance of the restaurant was appealing welcomed you in. I highly encourage you to check out this restaurant. Maid-Rite is a national icon that has been serving the Midwest since 1926.

I have not had a single issue, be it with a mistake on an order or anything else. The staff is also professional, personal works at a fast pace. I rarely go in to order but on the occasions that I have, should there be a queue, it is dealt with quickly and I am in out the door in a timely manner. One of my favorites in the F-M area, which says a lot as this is a chain.
