The spicy BBQ... read more I was hoping this location would match the quality of the now-closed Fairview Heights Show-Mes, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. The spicy BBQ sauce was far from spicy. The server was friendly, but she forgot my order after I had clearly communicated everything I wanted. She returned just a minute later to ask for my order again. It took about 25 minutes for my 20 wings to arrive, even with only a few other customers in the restaurant, most of whom were just having drinks. On a positive note, the fries were hot and crispy. The seating areas are quite nice, and the large patio is a great feature.

There were only six people at the table, and I made it seven, so it wasn't that busy.

The shrimp was just as I remembered it, but the wings were disappointing. Now, they offer a choice between breaded and naked options. The server I spoke with recommended the naked wings, but I couldn't recall what they used to be like. Unfortunately, they were terrible—more like baked wings dipped in butter, with absolutely no sauce. I ended up with 50 tasteless wings that I will now need to buy sauce for!
