Sat at the sushi bar section and it was a great experience. Watching the cooks prepare so many rolls and sushi was awesome to look at. I just ordered my tuna sushi and presentation was great but the taste was just wonderful. Tuna was buttery and fishy in a pleasant way and the hint of wasabi was not my fav but still delicious . What Marcus L doesn't like about House Of Tokyo:
Quick and easy sushi. Sushi quality is average. Experience slightly above average with floating sushi. Sushi travels in front of you on boats. Grab what looks good. Pay by the plate. They do have other choices of food(never tried). View all feedback.
I celebrated my nomination this evening in this fine place. happy to tell that we passed a terrific evening and the restaurant was evidently one of the reasons for that successful event. The stuff cooperated in a sweet style, the cuisine was very good and my guests were extremely joyful. We shall definitely come back again for more joyful events. thanks very much.
Sushi was really good. Ramen was really good. I'd go back there again definitely.
This sushi restaurant may be small, but the quality of the sushi is excellent. I have been to many sushi restaurants, and this place definitely ranks in my top ten. They serve sushi on little boats, giving you the opportunity to pick and choose what you like. If you don't see something you want on the boats, they also have a sushi menu to choose from. Additionally, they offer hibachi grilling, although I have yet to try it as I usually visit during lunch hour.

The quality of the sushi at this restaurant has declined over the years. The restaurant is often empty, which is understandable given the decrease in quality. However, I do appreciate the concept of the self-serving boats and paying by the plate for sushi. I used to frequent this place regularly 15-20 years ago. You can opt for a quick lunch or take your time to enjoy your meal. Unfortunately, the sushi is not as good as it used to be. The pieces are small and lack the expected taste and texture. This is not ideal for a sushi restaurant, especially when there are many other superior options available. I can even go to Jewel in Bartlett, where they make fresh sushi.
