Fantastic food! It's the best we've discovered in St. Charles over the years. You can't go wrong with the Guacamole Bites, and the atmosphere of their outdoor seating is hard to surpass! It's been a few years since our last visit, and we were pleased to see that the food quality and service are just as outstanding as they were before the pandemic, inflation, and staffing shortages. I want to give this place 5 stars because everything was excellent tonight, but we encountered an issue with the free kids meal promotion on Thursday nights when you purchase an entree. Despite ordering $14 burgers, which fell short of the $16 dinner options, we were still charged for our daughter's meal. The menu's promotional wording doesn’t specify that it has to be a dinner entree; it simply says "entree." Our server acknowledged that it was his oversight for not clarifying this beforehand. It was a bit frustrating but not a deal-breaker. However, it definitely needs to be clearer for future customers. Honestly, any meal not on the kids' menu should be considered an entree.
I recently enjoyed one of the best Chicken Clubs I've had in a long time! I paired it with sweet potato fries, which were cooked to perfection. My young son ordered the Mac n Cheese with applesauce and absolutely loved it.
We noticed three tables that arrived after us received their meals well before we did, and we only got our food after inquiring about it. Additionally, two of our bills were incorrect, and two of the dishes were served lukewarm. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. As for accessibility, there are steps leading inside, but it appears that outdoor seating is accessible.
Always a treat to dine here. Great atmosphere, good food and always fantastic service. It does get a little crowded and sometimes noisy with larger parties, but that's to be expected. It's definitely worth it for the food.
Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The location on Main Street and the lovely patio dining were the highlights. However, they opened 40 minutes late with no apology, and the service was incredibly slow. The waiter appeared to be barely awake. My salad was served long after my entree, and the dressing arrived even later. The food itself was underwhelming; the salad dressing tasted like something from a poor school cafeteria—thick and slimy. The fried guacamole bites were the only redeeming part of the meal; they were quite delicious.
