While staying in Les Rousses, by pure chance we came across this nugget, a breathtaking setting. Nestled between two steep slopes, on the Franco-Swiss border. Lulled by the tinkling of Comtoises, the menu is simple and authentic almost exclusively composed of fresh and local products, how not to succumb. The service is family-friendly, generous and comforting, punctuated by the buzzing conversations of the locals who come to take time off from their work over a drink (or more). You will be welcomed by Maya, one of the most adorable Bernese Mountain Dogs wearing a Swiss collar coming from table to table, for us no doubt the mascot of this establishment. We can only recommend this restaurant, this experience. That day we fell in love with Switzerland, a heartbreak to have to leave. Food here is excellent and the views are beautiful. We loved it so much that we went back a second night. We don't speak any French and still felt very welcome and had great service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
