My friends and I tried Markina for dessert, and everything we had was beyond our expectations. I strongly recommend ordering a hot chocolate. You put yourself a chocolate sphere in some milk, and the chocolate will melt to combine with the milk! Yummy! I also had a Raspberry Square (like a Date Square but with raspberries in it) and I loved it!
We headed for Markina for brunch and we both ordered the buffet and bowls of café au lait. The buffet included yoghurt, fruit, quiche, bacon, salmon, salads, as well as mini scones and muffins. The coffee was good, and the quality of the food was excellent. However I left feeling oddly I'm satisfied. I can't put my finger on the reason though so maybe it was just me or the mood I was in. Go and try it, and make up your own mind. We may return if we are in St Bruno but that doesn't happen very often.
This restaurant is fantastic and has a great atmosphere. The attentive staff and diverse lunch menu make for a great dining experience. The presentation and taste of the food were top-notch. Don't hesitate to stop by for a meal, you won't be let down.
