I was in town to get a king cake and was looking for high rating restaurant that sells hot sausages po boys. This place did not disappoint!! Really good I will be back!

First timer will be back many times to come. ?Super delighted to have found this place! Just wish I would have found it much sooner!Our entire experience was more than satisfactory. ?Was a pleasure in every aspect!Owners were very professional, helpful friendly with smiles on their faces the whole time.?It’s more than evident they put their hearts into this place. Excited to go back, hopefully soon.Fresh home cooking! Even the cornbread was made from scratch!Nothing was hidden behind closed doors. You can see everything, as it’s freshly being made to order. ?We had;*Red Beans rice with fried fish,cornbread salad.*Chicken strips with french fries.

Small place good food it's next to chalmette high school so don't go during lunch lol the owner(I think) came from the back to tell us items not on the menu. He was great!

Long day of fishing out of Sweet Water Marina (Da Crow). Decided to take a recommendation from YouTube personality Outside the Levees and eat Lunch at Dat Kitchen. We walked in and were greeted by Chef Medah with a smile. She gave us a run down of the special and that’s what we got. A seafood stuffed potato with fried catfish fillet topper. Every bite was delicious and the fish was best ever. Made fresh to order. Please give this spot a try when in the area. Here husband and mother-in-law were amazing. Also go before the school crowd let’s out
