The girl who sat us didn’t ask whether we wanted the grill table or a regular table, then when we asked to sit at a regular table she acted put out by the request, and she sat us over by the bar area. She never cracked a smile lol! Since we were the only table over there, the service was just ok. Meanwhile we watched 4 employees that were on the clock sit and talk with coworkers at the bar while we were needing drink... View all feedback.
Wouldn't recommend. I've never had to pay more for something left out of a dish before. $2 charge to have only mushrooms. We took a party of 4 adults and 1 child for a birthday. Were told that they no longer give birthday discounts. Still spent $220 they are so cheap that the chef tossed rice instead of shrimp.
I love Hibachi and always enjoy it. This time was an exception. I can’t complain about the service, but the grills were not clean at all. About an hour after I got home, I ended up getting sick. I had the salmon and no one else in my family had it or got sick. Unfortunately, I won’t go back.

Very nice place. Our young cook did good work. The food was delicious and plentiful. A bit expensive, but it was a fun culinary experience you should try if you have never been. We ordered dinner for two.
My husband and I had a great dinner in Yamatos. It was our first visit. We came in at 9:00. We were greeted with a smile and sat right away. Our waitress was very friendly. Our dinner didn't take long to get to the table. We have chicken and steak teppenyaki. The Covid Role and Spicy Tuna Role. Sushi was good. The duck was fresh and hot. When we were ready to go to our waitress, everything we needed. Drink to go, boxes with sauce cups and a bag to go. Even chocolates with the bill. Everything was about $59. It was worth it. We also have many leftovers. I recommend Yamatos. Great experience as a whole.
