Taco Libre - Saint Augustine

Such a wonderful atmosphere, food and service. Me and my husband where so happy with the food and service that we visited twice during our five day vacation.

The food is always good and comes out hot. The service is a little slow at getting drinks, but they are always busy.

Late evening ..happy to find this upbeat place across from our hotel! And read good reviews so,…..Our server ..Martine was friendly attentive and energetic! The place is well lit and large ..seating in booths, high tops or at the bar..there was lively music playingdrink prices were low to averageWe found the menu appealingI especially liked the option of ordering one item .. I wasn't very hungryAnd would have no opportunity to manage leftoversThe warm chips and salsa were better than averageI had a dingle warm tortilla with steak and sauceMy companions had similar but with mushrooms and melted cheese (yummy) the other had a steak bowlHighly recommended!

Decent food if one is in the area. The shrimp in my chimichanga was a little overcooked, but it was all good. Just not great. My wife had enchiladas. Again, they were good but they could have used some more flavor.

Not sure if it was just the night or what but over all not impressed. I ordered the chorizo quesadilla and some queso dip. It was all just bland nothing overly great. I was expecting a lot of flavor from the chorizo and it just didn't taste like anything Im used to and the queso dip was the same. Just nothing stood out to me. I got food for my wife and two kids all to go and when we asked about utensils they said they were all in the bag. Apparently meals for four people means 1 set of utensils.
