Delicious cherry turnovers! Coffee was perfect! We ordered a latte and a Macchiato.
I have this place a 1 star because I can’t even get in the door to try it out! The 2 times I tried to go during their posted “Open” hours they were in fact not open. I’m sitting here as we speak with their “Open” sign even lit up yet they are definitely closed. Either fix the hours on your door of when you’re actually open..and turn off the dang light….or I’m sure you’ll have more reviews like mine.
I have a soft spot for independent coffee shops, but this place was really mediocre and representative of why so many fail. It 's a shame, because it could be a really cute spot if more ownership was taken.First, despite the encouraging coffee menu showing what proportions the drinks have, when I ordered a cappuccino I got a latte. The milk was also way over steamed. The coffee itself tasted alright but certainly nothing to write home about. What really threw me off were all the little details that seemed off. From the droopy deserts in the cases, to the haphazardly stocked sweeteners, to whatever the heck is going on up on the big chalk board they have on the wall (I wish I got a picture). Two glaring examples were cleaning wipes just sitting out on one of the display cases and spare tiles+grout stored under one of the tables. Idk, these just scream either don 't care or don 't know what we 're doing . Justing by the quality of a basic cappuccino and the tepid service, I 'd bet on a little of both.Oh, and the wifi didn 't work. It kept redirecting me to the AT&T customer portal saying the account needs attention! Apparently it is a residential account? Come on...Again, it 's a shame because this could be a cute spot, and that 's why I 'm really writing this review: I hope the owners will read this and take note so they can get their act together.
