Steak tasted like the grill had to be cleaned and it was over done. We did receive a new steak and it was cooked properly but still had the burnt grill taste .
Early-ish dinner. Arrived 20 minutes early for reservation but were seated right away service was nice. Fairly quick service, but the young man was unsure of what stock was behind the bar. Appetizers came out fast. Maple Glazed Pork Belly was very good. Large portion. Halloumi Caprese was flavourful but the tomatoes were anemic and a little tasteless. Still pretty good. Mains came out in good time. Braised Short Ribs were a large portion with nice flavour, but beef was dry. Undercooked, overcooked or just left to sit out of braise too long? Who knows? Blackened Arctic Char was a little too salty and overcooked. Missing the nice oiliness of char. Just too dry. Our table also got forgotten when a table of 12+ arrived. Had to ask manager for dessert menu and waiting quite some time to have our table cleared or get the bill.
