Barley Republic - Saint Augustine

One of the best bars downtown they have the best fish n' chips and I absolutely loved all my drinks you have to make sure you see Melissa she is the best bartender!!

We were looking forward to trying this joint out. Let me start by saying that the service was fantastic! The food was okay, it started out very strong, the curry french fries with fried chicken (chicken tenders) were very tasty. The curry was delicious. My wife had the chicken tenders sliders with sauce on the side, they were okay as it mainly tasted like your typical frozen chicken tenders on a Hawaiian roll and a hot sauce. I had the Reuben... The sandwich was small and very soggy! It was a mess to eat... Not worth the price. The coleslaw has near no flavor. The beers were barely cold, which in a hot summer month in Florida, would be very nice to have a cold beer. We might try again for different menu items, but we 're not in a hurry to return.

So there was a bit of a wait, but we enjoyed the Smithwicks Strongbow and the food was well worth the wait! If you are ever looking for a late night bite this is it!!! Bangers Mash, Burger, Brussels Sprouts, Mac and Cheese it is all delicious and amazing! Our server looked as Irish as they come and was a very attentive handsome lad, the cook had a magic wand, and the atmosphere was entertaining. We will visit again and again and again.

Very cool spot in the heart of downtown. Love that they’re open late! Brian was great!

If you find your self lucky enough to visit St. Aug you better check this place out! Not only is everything on the menu bussin- BUT the service is fire. Shout out to Melissa for always welcoming guests with a smile , her amazing drinks and her awesome personality! Thanks girl! Barley republic is a must!! 10/10 and don’t forget the tenders
