La Cave Gourmande de Pascal

A vegan friend told me about this place and wow, I keep coming back for the cashew nut cheese.

Knowledgable staff who always have a smile on their faceThe place you can go for many items that can't be found anywhere else in the city.

These guys are the real deal.

We stayed near this restaurant / wine bar / wine bar and ate only once but loved it. The Set menu lunch includes a great salad or similar and large glass of wine for approx 8 Euro. There is no kids menu but they happily made ours a cheese sandwich each. You will need a basic knowledge of French to get by but the are very polite and patient. The cave regularly hosts live jazz evenings and seems like a real hub for the local community. you will get a good feel for the place at their website.
