A friendly neighborhood pub. A few years ago, when we lived in the neighborhood, we thought of the old Village Pub as a beer and a burger. The place was okay. Today we have finally found our way back to the new Village Pub, a sparkling new neighborhood pub. The place is bright and airy decorated. The service is excellent, friendly and attentive. The food, a Juicy Lucy and fish and chips were delicious. The red beans and rice were great rival local variations of the dish I ate in New Orleans, time to make the Village Pub a destination.
I for the first time at lunch yesterday. Food was good, beer selection is great! Excellent place for burgers and a beer if you like something outside Miller or Budweiser.
Good burgers. We went to the Village Pub for dinner and had burgers. They were well cooked, tasteful and pretty juicy. The onion rings were good, but they only give you a few with the burger, which is too bad. I also ordered a side of potatoes for my daughter, and I understand that they are not cooked to order, but they probably had to sit around all day. They put the potatoes in a bowl and microwave them to crazy temperatures. The bowl came out hot and the potatoes had to sit for about 10 minutes. I would skip the next time they weren't very good after they had come to an edible temperature. I'd go back for the burgers, and the service was good.
Nice menu selection, great staff, warm colours makes this a perfect place to hang out for an afternoon.
