I was recently at this resort. Great resort! Children really enjoyed it. I ate breakfast in her restaurant while I was there for a few days. The breakfast buffet is not coeliac friendly, but its menu « à la carte » includes 2 gluten-friendly products (Avocado Toast option and breakfast sandwich with gluten-free bread). It was very good! For dinner my waiter was known about celiac disease, went to check with the cook to be sure which menu items were gluten-free. I ate the oysters, salmon and the gluten-free desert. Everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly. I recommend this restaurant/resort.
Dinner in the email dining room. Server was knowledgeable and could recommend menu options, and that. when food was delivered, Server Koch said the food restrictions were conscious (very soothing). Breakfast — there was nothing GF and DF in the breakfast buffet, so the menu had to be ordered. Had good avocado toast on the same bungalow as last night lobster sandwich. No reactions to gluten or dairy products.
For dinner, my waiter was very knowledgeable about celiac disease and took the time to consult with the chef to confirm which dishes were gluten-free. I ordered oysters, salmon, and a gluten-free dessert, and everything was scrumptious. The staff was very friendly throughout my visit. I highly recommend this restaurant and resort!
For breakfast, however, I found that there were no gluten-free or dairy-free options available in the buffet, so I had to order from the menu. I ended up having a delicious avocado toast, served on the same bun I had for the lobster sandwich the night before. Thankfully, I had no adverse reactions to gluten or dairy.
There were many options on the menu, but I tried the mushroom burger with house-made buns, and it was quite disappointing. The bread was so dry that I couldn't even eat it, and the burger had no flavor—just chewy mushrooms. Given the price, I expected much better.
