Had 4 great meals .. lobster roll was terrific, hamburger was really good, fish cakes were about the best we have had and came with a nice pineapple/jalapeno salsa. Servings are generous, and prices are good. You can upgrade from a side of fries to a salad. Only gave it a 4 as they use frozen french fries vs fresh cut. Service was terrific, food came out quickly. Patio has a lovely view of the water. We will definite... View all feedback.
What Sarah Vila doesn't like about Pub On Main:
We are exploring the area and stopped in for lunch. We ordered the nachos and the hot open faced turkey sandwich. The nachos were quite a disappointment. You got an ample amount of chips but only about a quarter of a cup of chopped tomatoes peppers and onions with a very light sprinkle of cheese. And the cost was over $11. The hot turkey sandwich was not much better super thick bread with a few stringy pieces of turk... View all feedback.

I thought this was a pleasant place by the river to have lunch. I found the waitress to be very friendly and knowledgeable of any menu questions I had. The prices and portions are reasonable. I had the haddock sandwich. It was very tasty. Thank you. Glad I stopped.
We stayed to the Granite Inn and decided to walk down to the Pub on Main for dinner. The artwork on the building is cool and gives off a friendly vibe. The waitress was helpful and friendly making sure we were taken care of with our drinks at all times. One of us had a burger and it had an onion ring and chicken tenders piled on the bun with the burger. It was very juicy and delicious, as well as thoughtfully put together. The fries were very good. One of the other tables had fish and chips and looked so good. They make their own bread and all the menu items are very reasonably priced. I had a piece of their peanut butter pie which was very creamy and delicious. It is a very fun restaurant and would welcome revisiting it when I pass through Saint George.
The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and the food is excellent, all at affordable prices. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the Granite Hotel.
We just came for a late afternoon drink but this is a great place -- views and very friendly staff.
