Bistro au carre - Saguenay

Went there for lunch by chance and really liked it. I had never expected it be so tasty and well prepared for a budget lunch price. Decided to go back for dinner, and again had a great meal. Atmosphere is quite cozy and service is...extremelly friendly and attentionate. Food was really good and tasty, and differs from most of the restaurants we find in the area. I really like the place and would go back anytime !

I randomly decided to try this restaurant for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I never expected the food to be so delicious and well-prepared, especially at such affordable prices. I enjoyed my meal so much that I returned for dinner and once again had a great experience. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is extremely friendly and attentive. The food was flavorful and unique compared to other restaurants in the area. I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely return again!

Even though the name has changed since my last visit this is still a wonderful place for lunch. Great food, tasty soups and very fair prices. They always have a large selection on the lunch menu and everything is delicious. A must do if you...are in the area.

This restaurant blew me away. First thing: make a reservation, they are very busy and for good reason. I didn’t have a reservation but luckily for me another didn’t show up so I was able to have their table. Location: There is lots of parking...on Davis and the restaurant is in a fairly convenient location. It’s not very large, but it’s very modern looking inside and even though it was full of people talking and conversing, it was not overly loud. Service: literally second to none. The staff hustled like I’ve never at other restaurants, and maintained smiles the entire time. They made sure waters and drinks were always topped up and were frequently checking up to make sure everything was good at each table. They were also very helpful in English as I am not fully fluent in French. Food: Absolutely amazing. The menu is mostly tapas, but there are some larger entrees as well. Plus they have lots of daily specials, which I will be returning for in the future. The quality of the food was some of the best I have had anywhere; that said, I like trying new things- picky or fussy eaters may want to stick with more generic items on the menu, which there are also plenty of. Overall: it will be hard to try new restaurants in Saguenay now since I will likely want to return here again and again.
