Pre-2021, $4 a piece seems pricy. In the middle of 2022 and two discs and a soda for $10 is a steal. The slices are huge- not like novelty big, but good $4. Great cake. Simple location. Fast service. Will definitely be back. View all feedback.
What Nick Dunn doesn't like about Thee Upper Crust Pizza:
Got the all you can eat during lunch, not just pizza, pretty decent salad bar, cheesy garlic bread, some kind of pasta with red sauce, some kind of soup, offering pepperoni, combo and Hawaiian pizza while i was there. With a soda was over $16 so definitely not the cheapest place to get lunch but if you are really hungry you could get your money's worth. View all feedback.
Combo 8.5/10 Has mushrooms, green bell peppers, ham, sausage, onion, pepperoni and olives. Good sauce to crust ratio with amazing cheese pull and topping ratio. Definitely recommend. Pepperoni 7/10 Great ratio of cheese, sauce, and crust. Good base for more stuff. Artichoke 5/10 Not a fan of the white sauce. The artichoke is fine, had chicken, red onion, and ham too, I think. Meat 6.5/10 Had sausage, ham, and pepperoni. Too little toppings but a good sauce to crust ratio.
Pizza was delicious but the customer service is what stood out! I got there within a few mins left for lunch buffet and the crew there were super cool about it. They even made me a fresh pizza of my choice. The establishment was super clean and the veggies at the salad bar were super fresh. Unlike other establishments (not going to name the substandard places).
In downtown Sacramento on K Street, right behind the Hyatt Hotel, is Upper Crust Pizza. It has a pretty good weekday lunch pizza and salad buffet. For $14 and some change, you can get an All You Can Eat (AYCE) buffet. The pizzas are pepperoni, Hawaiian, and vegetarian. The salad bar has two types of lettuce mix, lots of toppings, potato salad, and pesto pasta salad. The bar also includes a hot soup and garlic, cheese pizza sticks. The pizzas are yummy. Yeasty bready crust. Oohh it smells and tastes great. The cheese and sauce were tasty. The salad bar had a variety of options. Solid pizza and salad lunch buffet. They are not stingy and do keep the buffet pizzas coming out. The salad bar was amply stocked and replenished as well. Everything looked gorgeously fresh... plump cherry tomatoes, green crisp lettuce mix, sliced firm mushrooms. Surprisingly my favorite item in the salad bar was the pesto pasta salad. I say surprisingly because it looked very simply made. But the pasta had a perfect doneness, not chewy nor mushy, and a good pesto flavor. If you are not in the mood for a buffet for lunch, no worries. They have other menu options such as whole pizzas (various sizes) and sandwiches (hot and cold choices).
This has quickly become my go to spot for pizza. I come here at least once a week to get my pizza fix. They have a lunch buffet that's reasonable and I can get 2 slices for a few bucks off the buffet. I will typically just order a mini pizza and snack on that for lunch. Ingredients are great and the staff are so nice! For sure I recommend them for a very delicious, simple lunch.
The pizza was great pizza, and price. Service are very helpful and I knew tutirist they told were to go.
