Bring your appetite, because this place is totally legit, best to south cooking I've ever had since Louisiana left. The portions are huge, the smoked brisket was delicious, the ribs fell tenderly from the bone, and the chicken was delicious and tasty. I don't like driving in downtown, but this place is easy to get from the highway and I will definitely be back. View all feedback.
What Mallie Shanahan doesn't like about South:
This place is in a great location, has friendly staff, and delicious looking presentation, however the food was not as good as it looked. The red beans were bland, the shrimp and grits were over seasond, and I REALLY wanted to love the biscuits, but they had a thick sugary coating on top that ruined them for me. On a positive note my friend ordered the Shrimp Po-boy, it looked really tasty, and she really enjoyed it.... View all feedback.
The food was excellent on so many wise. that was tender and ingenious. the rubber band was the best I had for a long time. van and abril
The best fried huh! that is a restaurant that is very faithful to the foundations. not only chicken itself is so fresh, but also the way it cook is so delicious. kriech and savory on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside. I also had gumbo and pecan pier. garnel and sausages in the rubber bear are cooked so well. very busy at the weekend. now they open around 15 o'clock to 9 o'clock, as they are only little human.
The best garnel grits ever! my beautiful woman had the chickensando, who was also excellent. we'll be back. Thank you!
Do not go when they count calorie! great fried chicken and biscuit tasted more like dessert. only that was the banan pudding. not much banana taste. will definitely go back and super friendly staff
Great food and incredible service! Maybe the best fried chicken ever!
