Was User at Lalo's a mag?
I've been coming here for years, and I absolutely love the food. The chips with beans and the delicious salsa that you get before the main course are unbeatable! The salsa is amazing, and I can confidently say this place serves the BEST horchata in Sacramento, possibly even in all of California—I’ve never had anything like it elsewhere! The staff is incredibly hard-working, friendly, and always welcoming. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Lalo's:
I stumbled upon this little gem of a corner restaurant while I was on my way somewhere, and I decided to try some tacos. However, they didn't taste fresh and were quite salty. Unfortunately, the main dish I wanted is only available on weekends. View all feedback.

Im a Mexican food enthusiasts. I came here because of the high ratings. . The chips and salsa and bean dip the brought out was fire. The taco meat was absolute trash. I visit 20 taco places a month and order nothing but tacos. The meat I was served wasdeep fried to heat up instead of thrown on the grill. Don't deep fry grilled steak or chicken. Horrible meat. . For the firsttime in months I didn't finish 5 tacos. I usually eat 6. The chicken was straight up rubber.

Riding by Lalo's on my bicycle, I remembered seeing good reviews about it, so I stopped in. The staff was very welcoming even allowing my bicycle inside. I tried a chicken quesadilla and want to mention it was quite meaty and admired its cheesiness. I zhoozhed it up with the green salsa that came with the chips n' salsa it was a good accompaniment! I look forward to goingwith friends to try more of their dishes!

This place is really good. I came in for the first time and wanted a bean and cheese burrito at first but kinda decided I wanted to get some carne asada tacos since you can never go wrong with those. I would say the tacos are really authentic and made withlove by the friendly older lady who works in the kitchen. She might be the reason why I would want to come back to get the tacosagain. The quality of the carne asada is spectacular and it's very hard for me to give tacos a 10/10 and this place deserves it.They are very quick at making the tacos as well. I would recommend anyone who's really into carne asada tacos to try this placeout.
