The rest o... read more The plantains are my favorite aspect of this dish. They are simple fried plantains, but they feel refreshing since we rarely have them in Sacramento. The rest of the food was also fresh and delicious, featuring whole spiced beans, seasoned rice, and pulled pork (pernil). I don’t have anything to compare it to, as I’ve never tried Puerto Rican cuisine before, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It wasn’t spicy, but it was perfectly savory and well-cooked.

The salmon cakes were absolutely amazing and might just be my favorite dish! The Chorizo Mac is perfectly cheesy, with chorizo in every bite, and it gets a thumbs up from both kids. The burrito bowl was delicious too! Their beans are unique and incredibly tasty. My youngest son nearly finished the whole burrito bowl and loved it! I'm still waiting to hear from my in-laws about the burria and chicken tacos they ordered, but I've had them before and they are incredible. The chicken tacos are probably my top pick. Plus, the delivery was lightning fast. Thank you for the delicious food!
