What an incredible find! Place roasts their own coffee beans. Source depends on what's in season. Lady behind the counter was very knowledgeable and let me sample different varieties of coffee.I returned here daily while on vacation. Lattes, single origin, drip coffee all were incredible, without that bitter/astringent aftertaste. Will absolutely return when i visit again. I am keeping an eye out on their portal mail... What Ann C doesn't like about Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters:
Still consider it one of my favorite coffee shops but lately when we do come here the lattes are over steamed and the milk is scalded.Have been coming here since 2014 and used to recommend it as my favorite coffee shop in Sacramento but lately the quality has been very inconsistent . Whenever we use Apple Pay we typically get an email feedback questionnaire based on our response the manager did refund us back in Janu... View all feedback.
A great local roastery. I can't drink much coffee but they have three herbal tea options and can make it into a tea latte. My family tried the coffee and loved the taste.Service: 5/5
Great coffee where they roast all of their coffee beans in-house. I got the cappuccino with an extra shot, almond milk, and of course, a chocolate fish.

A good neighborhood coffee shop. I enjoyed the design for my white mocha, which was about $7 definitely on the pricier side for a mocha, but it was a good drink. Parking in the back is very limited. Inside was loud, with all the roasting activity, I assume. Outside feels calmer, but there aren't a ton of tables and seating.Food: 5/5
I saw the name of this coffee shop and I just had to check it out ?. I love chocolate and coffee so win win here. The place is very modern feeling with nice vista like decorations on the walls. There is a huge coffee roasting machine which definitely adds a sense of where we are. They have the standard set of drinks that one would expect in a coffee shop, they are quite good and have good attention to detail; nice latte art and a good coffee flavor. There are a number of pastries on display, including actual chocolate fish as a homage to the name of the place. They have a number of types of toasts as well so this is a good place to enjoy a coffee and some other tasty food bite to start off the day. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside, in fact the outside patio has a lot of character to it and looks very comfortable to sit with friends or a lover and enjoy a relaxing time sipping your favorite drink. The service was excellent and the baristas were very friendly and accommodating. They had no problem with special requests that I had.
