I r... read more I can definitely recommend the Hotel Mattmarkblick. I received a very warm welcome. The room is very nicely decorated and everything is very neat and clean. I received very good advice on the nearest hiking destinations, bus connections and cable cars. The Hotel Mattmarkblick is very centrally located..... only 1 minute walk from the village square and the bus stop. Just opposite a small pond with beautiful trees that provide pleasant shade in summer... like a small park. The hotel is very informal, which I personally like very much. You start a conversation and just feel good! And last but not least, a word about the really great kitchen and the service. The food was very tasty and varied, I was a guest for 5 days and there was a new, great 5-course menu every day. The service was very friendly and always attentive...thanks to everyone in the team....and I hope to see you again...Tino Franke. Had booked half-board, I can't say any... read more A good Hotel Restaurant in Saas Almagell. The couple who own it take great care of their guests and the service is right. Had booked half-board, I can't say anything negative about breakfast or dinner, everything was fine and met my expectations. The bus (free with a guest card) stops just a few meters from the hotel, which is a good starting point for a tour. Only the rooms are a bit old. Since I was out and about a lot during the day, it didn't bother me, but this is where you could start. Definitely recommended and I will come back next time I visit Saas.
