Service was good and fast. Sushi was decent but the price for the special rolls were a bit expensive. The pho bo was not good. I would stick to the sushi here. Nice to be able to order Japanese beer here. Would I come back? Maybe......
This place serves beautiful Asian cuisine full of renovations. the sushi is playful and tasty, the nudelsuppen easily adapted to the European taste and the sashimi fresh and tasty. the quality is far beyond what the contemporary German kitchen could ever approach. another great redemption of the Saarland cuisine!
Very very ok and very very overpriced. A Chardonnay, tiny mint tea, Tuna Ceviche entree, and a main course costs a spectacular 60 Euro for a meal decidedly unspectacular. Supermarket ingredients and common preparations combined onto acceptable platings made me sleepy with boredom. The Ceviche and main course flavors masked by chilli powders say beginners kitchen to me. The tea was served in a tiny pretty pot so there was too little of it to really enjoy. Maybe it is a new mint tea espresso fad? They do spend time to blanche and peel tiny tomatoes which were delightfully sweet and flavorful so top marks to the tomato peeler. However an amateur maitre d'hotes, servers who are surly and rushed to go to their cigarette break, and Chefs too young to know better combine for a big Saarbruuken eye roll.
We are regularly guest at Düc and have also learned to love the offer. Just in current times just pick up and enjoy at home. The food is fresh and with enough ginger and wasabi. Leeeecker:
