Come here once or twice a month. Prices are very reasonable and the taste is consistently delicious. There are two locations in the city and both are equally good. The bento boxes are wonderful. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Shiki Sushi:
Having enjoyed the downtown location for years, we decided to give this one a try. They were out of beer, and every soft drink except diet Pepsi. The bento box was too salty to finish. It was clear why a restaurant in such a busy mall was empty. Oh, and there's black crud all over the ceiling above our table. Go to the downtown location for a good meal. Avoid this mismanaged one at all cost. View all feedback.
We ordered on 28 november 2020. we are Japanese and we are used for good quality sushi. the sushi rice is first and foremost understated and hard. in sushi the rice is the most important part. in japan, a sushi cook used. for years training how to reis, how to cook rice with the right texture and how to make the rice with the right taste for sushi. many Chinese or Korean restaurants do not know how to make the basic, and it shows in their rice. next, the other ingredients were very shameful. very thin strips of avocado, very thin egg and the aroma was not correct, and the fish was thin paper. I really appreciate the quality and I am very willing to pay more for it. eating in this restaurant lis very bad quality.
Shiki offers a fantastic option to choose a preset sushi and/or sashimi box. The meal comes with miso soup, salad, and rice with a satay sauce. The food is delightful and delicious!
We have visited this restaurant a few times for lunch, but this was our first time having dinner there. We originally planned on having a regular meal, but the staff suggested the all-you-can-eat option. Both of us decided to go for it, and we ended up trying dishes we might not have ordered otherwise. The oyster moyakato was particularly outstanding, and all the sushi we tried was fresh and delicious. One tuna dish in particular was amazing. We highly recommend trying it out, and we will definitely be returning in the future.
We used to frequent Shiki Sushi fairly regularly and really enjoyed it, but had not been in a while. The waitress was not interested at all. The food was not as delicious as it once was. I found the Tonkatsu greasy. The sushi was great....The chairs were squishy and losing their faux leather, tired looking. It was reasonably priced for dinner for two and will probably give it another chance.
Second time coming here and it was not a good experience. Our first time we discovered this place and was pleasantly surprised. Went back a second time and it was such a different experience. One of the waitress was absolutely horrible, ignoring us and even...waving us off. If you are not our server, at least have the decency to ask our server to come to our table. Had to walk up and asked for dish for our dipping sauce. Worse was the wait for food, took forever to get to our table. Food was ok, was not worth the wait. Will not return.
