The good, tasty fresh food that pleased everyone. Large portions that used the right amount of spices. The bad, spring rolls were awful and the staff needs to try smiling just a little. View all feedback.
What Sibyl Wisoky doesn't like about Lin Heung Restaurant:
hallo? my wife and I tried to eat this restaurant as we always enjoyed takeout, but eating was really not worth the effort, and this is my first review that forces me to think about the word pathetic. the war won...can't win the war! the rest of the meal was terrible. we ordered seafood know-how head, and I think the rest of the garnels was on strike because only one appeared. the squid was uncooked and chewing, I co... Eat in or take out, friendly people, very tasty food and great choice. Pricing is about what other restaurants charge and is good value.
My husband and I ate here last night with our son. My husband had the beef with ginger and onions, my son had Szechuan chow mein and I had beef and broccoli. By far the best dish was the chow mein - nice and spicy. Certainly the other sauces could be a bit more flavourful for me, but for three people to eat out for less than $40, it represents excellent value. I am looking forward to my next visit.
When you aren't looking for anything fancy and just want an affordable and tasty meal this is a great option. I've only picked up food and haven't had any problems. We always order the same few vegetarian dishes and get a couple meals out of a $30 order.
Good Chinese food. Cheap prices . Good quality. Great for takeaway. Nice people. Great service. Recommend.
The other dishes maybe safe, but stay away from ordering anything BBQ, ie: duck, pork and likely the roast pork too ! We ordered a bbq pork/duck combo and it's appearance when the waitress brought it was gross looking. It was dry, clearly NOT fresh, strange colouring, and tasteless. Even our 4 year old commented Ewwe, it looks funny, tastes funny & there was no sauce. We are sure "they knew" it was not good quality when they served it. They clearly wanted to profit from it by trying to rip off the customer. They likely did not care about the quality of their food & customer satisfaction, as long as they make a buck. Shame on them! We ended up paying for it. We were suckers & should have send it back to the kitchen & asked that, the dish be taken off the bill. We did not leave a tip and wrote down why. (which to reiterate, they knew it was bad, but charged & served it to us anyways) Shame on them. We used to frequent this restaurant, but after this last experience, we will never go back jack !
