We went for the first time tonight with our two little kids. The service was fabulous and everyone was lovely to the kiddos (who were the only ones there). The food was food enough but the service and ambience as fabulous. I will go back with friends and family and recommend it to anyone for an inexpensive, simple meal with great service. What Carmella Keebler doesn't like about J.j. Morgan:
As a person with a sophisticated palate, I was pretty disgusted with the quality of the food. I felt deceived by the good reviews on the internet. I had no idea it was a white spot with a different name. I can't even say that the food was a decent value for what we got because I thought the entrees were overpriced. I can't even say that the place was charming and the service was great because the decor was dated and... View all feedback.
We wanted a nice sunday brunch buffet ,so after searching found this place, read some very good reviews and some not so flattering ones ,but thought oh well let me decide ,it is very easy to find, lots of parking, seated right away by the friendly manager,or maybe...More
The reception was good, the waiter excellent, the room felt comfy and quiet enough so one could have a pleasant conversation. One meal, which included salmon was good, the other with shrimps had plenty of vegetables which were unforunatly soaked in a sauce spoiling the rest. All in all,if you like a simple meal at a fair price in an ok setting, then this restaurant is fine.
Went for breakfast. It was not bad, the food was hot and the coffee is good. Service was not the best, but far from worst.
Despite many offerings on the buffet there was nothing that was particularly good or desirable...kind of like a bad church picnic. Both the ham and roast beef were overdone and dry. The cold selections were not protected by a sneeze guard and were accessed by both sides of a table meaning lots of leaning over the food to reach the other food. With servers assigned to the entire dining room the service was spotty at best. If you need cheap, plentiful food then this is your place otherwise give this a pass. You really do get what you pay for.
We went there last night as it was my birthday. I had the chicken cordon "bleu" which was excellent and a good portion as well as I had to take half of it home. As it was my birthday, $12.00 was deducted from the meal as well as the fact that I was given a free dessert of my choice. All in all, the four of us all enjoyed our food and I highly recommend it.
