This is a lovely classical restaurant within the fabulous Le Grand Bellevue Hotel in Gstaad. As well as lovely breakfasts and a “standard” evening meal, which was excellent, we enjoyed a six course taster menu (plus amuse bouche) with wine pairing one evening. Every course was just superb and the portion sizes spot on, with highlights being the spring deer, turbot (served with foie gras and snails) and a delicious modern take on ravioli. The wines were also excellent and, again, generously sized and the service great. A brilliant experience.
Superbly presented, what initial looks like small portions is actually substantial, delicious and expertly prepared. We had both dinner and breakfast, and could not fault one thing. Gastronomy at its best. Highly recommended.
