The Melt - S San Diego

Ordered through Door Dash our first night in town. Never had their food before and would definitely order from here again. Sandwiches tasted great, but the steak and cheese seemed a little light on meat. Meltburger was cooked perfectly, not over done.We got the garlic Parmesan fries and they weren't good at all. We ordered them without spice for our kiddo, but it came with it anyway so she gave up after one bite. The spice looked like an oil blend that just made everything soggy and the raw garlic was overpowering for us, so can't recommend those. The toasted sandwiches were ridiculously crispy. It seriously tasted like I was at a restaurant and they came right from the kitchen . The cheese stayed gooey and the bread stayed crunchy- I don't know how they did that. We were so tired from a long flight that I forgot to take any pictures, but I think the portion sizes were reasonable and everything looked appetizing and assembled well, not just thrown together. We might order another time this week before we head home.

We were wondering the streets for dinner and walked in here to check out the menu. The smell of the restaurant made us stay. We were greeted, and then figured out our order on the kiosk. Our food took no time at all the make and they were slammed with take out that’s how we knew we picked a good spot! I had the Mac and cheese grilled cheese and it’s worth getting again. The strawberry milkshake was also really good! This is great drunken food for sure.

Very tasty, had the original melt burger and the shroom burger. Tried Parmesan fries and bacon fries. Loved

My bbq bacon cheeseburger was missing the bacon. ? Very disappointing!

They have delicious food and gluten buns which is beyond a plus!!!!
