I have to say, THE FOOD is great here. I was skeptical at first with a random taco shop that someone said to go to. The BIRRIA and consomme was delicious! One of best so far I had. Plus the best meatball soup ever! Hearty stew. It had the perfect combination of added flavors to it. Better than other places. Definitely one of my favorite places now in Clairemont Mesa Blvd East. I really want to give this place more stars but it’s ridiculous to have a menu board but no prices listed on it. I have ordered the same thing on the menu and the price is different each time! Feel the same about the middle aged lady at the register: she is emotionless and should probably stay in the back. I love the gratis carrots/chips/salsa bar but please start posting your prices. It’s a bit expensive but food is good. As far as customer service the woman seemed annoyed and bothered. She didn’t get my order right.
One of my favorite Mexican restaurants! Their carne asada fries are delicious and their portion sizes are great. The employees are also so friendly! Highly recommend.
Great carne asada plate, fresh hot flour tortilla, and self serve chip/salsa bar! Friendly service and ample seating. Very clean establishment!
Huge plate of chile rellenos, rice beans. Will have enough left over for lunch tomorrow.. Delicious ?
I must say, the food here is fantastic! I was a bit hesitant at first about trying a random taco shop that someone recommended, but the birria and consomme were absolutely delicious—definitely some of the best I've had! Plus, the meatball soup is outstanding; it's a hearty stew with the perfect blend of flavors. It's far superior to what I've had at other places. This has definitely become one of my favorite spots in Clairemont Mesa Blvd East.
