The Soleil@K is a very nice semi-upscale restaurant within the Downtown Marriott on K street. We were there for the breakfast which had great options on their 'buffet '. Along with sausage gravy and biscuits, soft scrambled eggs and multiple types ofbreakfast meats, one could order made-to-order eggs and french toast. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. Do not waste your time and money on breakfast buffet there are tastier options in walking distance! Staff nice but bacon soggy and didn?t taste like bacon, sausage greasy also with no flavor, pastries very dry and cold. They even messed up s View all feedback.
We stopped in for breakfast before checking out. Service and food were what we expected from an average buffet.
Went up to the 22nd floor and decided to go back down to the restaurant and eat there. Reck was the bartender whom provided us phenomenal service. The calamari and shrimp was delicious and so was the mountain of fries they gave us. My partner got the chicken fried rice which he said was really good as well. We were the only ones there besides the bartender so it was perfect. Giving us the perfect atmosphere to enjoy each other in with.

Ok breakfast attached to the hotel. The food was luke warm and the salt and pepper packs were moist all the time we went. We went due to issues to our room so we got free breakfast but not really a good tasting breakfast here and always had to ask to get drinks. Not bad but service and food think somewhere else.
