Nola On 5th - S San Diego

I went to visit this restaurant with my bf for our first time in San Diego. I was expecting so much more from watching them on “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Drives.” The food, service and atmosphere was subpar. I believe I took a picture of the Shrimp PoBoy will post.

The food was absolutely delicious definitely NOLA authentic. Portions were HUGE reasonably priced. Our server, Brian, was awesome- high spirited highly attentive to our brunch group's needs. We were seated inside near the bar (with multiple TVs showing multiple football games) which made conversing with table mates a bit challenging, otherwise a great dining experience! We'll be back!

The waitress tried but she wasn't very knowledgeable on their offerings. Making a reservation on here had no value. They weren't ready at all and seemed confused that we even had a reservation. We had to sit outside due to their limited planning. The food was good.

Disappointing as it’s a Guy Fieri DDD recommended restaurant. I don’t think we will go back.

The food was great but even though we showed up in time for our reservation, we were seated 30 minutes late. And then took another 20 minutes to take our order. Good food, bad service.
