Most underrated restaurant in La Jolla. I've worked next door for years and the service staff have been nothing but phenomenal.Most of the bad reviews that you see are from people who were hoping to score a free meal or from tourists who had entirely different expectations in ordering food in La Jolla. It's a fast-casual smokehouse, not a luxury restaurant folks.If you find yourself in the area during lunch, would highly recommend giving this place a try.

We had the beef ribs,cheese burgers, wings, sliced brisket, grilled chicken breast and chicken tenders. Everything was just made to perfection! We thought that we will have lots leftovers but the kids really liked the food doesn’t happen often) and ate everything that we got them. We will be back soon for sure !!!

Simply the best BBQ around. This takeout restaurant is our favorite. Everything from beef ribs to brisket is excellent and most importantly done consistently well. We get dinner from Bubba's every week. Highly recommend. It's family owned and operated which is great as it allows us to support a neighborhood business and family.

Love Bubbas! They’ve moved from La Jolla to Rancho Bernardo and are doing TO-GO orders only. I will gladly drive to the new location to be able to get my Bubbas fix. Jeff the owner is a great guy and the bbq is delicious! TIP: Call in or order online and go pick up your order. Follow the signs and pull up to the sign pictured! Parking: Park close to the bubbas sign.

Best and only BBQ place in La Jolla. Good food, casual dining.
