Menu

Jinnah restaurant elicits mixed reviews, reflecting a dramatic decline from its former glory. Once celebrated for delicious cuisine, the current state is marred by disrepair, dirty interiors, and lackluster service. Patrons report issues ranging from cold, oily dishes to filthy dining environments, leaving many wary of returning. However, some still praise the food, noting generous portions and unique flavors, particularly with takeaway orders. While the kitchen can deliver satisfying meals, the overall ambiance requires significant investment. For now, Jinnah’s ability to revive its reputation hangs in the balance, swayed by both disappointing and delightful experiences.

Was gemmam303 at Jinnah a mag?
Was staying nearby with some family so we thought we would give Jinnah a try. Restaurant didn't look open when we arrived and we appeared to be the only customers sitting in which was slightly off putting for me at first although a group arrived just before we left and I know there was a few take aways. Food was amazing but very spicy, even the dishes that usually aren't meant to be! Portion sized were very generous.... View all feedback.
What Natalie P dislikes about Jinnah:
Inedible.. do not waste your money. The place is absolutely filthy, from the outside it looks shut.. it should be. Honestly didn’t dare eat it. The curries had an inch on oil sat on the top. Absolutely revolting View all feedback.
This place used to be amazing. Unfortunately it is now a run down poor excuse of its former self. We pulled into the car park almost sure that the restaurant had closed down. The place looked in a state of disrepair with paint falling of the walls and window frames. We were just about to leave when a member of staff came out and assured us they were open. Dubiously we went in, remembering how great it used to be. Inside, the decor was not much better, it was very tired, in need of some TLC and investment but as we were the only people in the place I guess that investment won't be coming any time soon as this place cannot possibly be trading very much longer unless it survives on take-away trade. Upon taking our drinks order, we were disappointed to be informed that they had no beer (draught or bottled) so had soft drinks. Unfortunately the disappointment didn't stop there as when our main courses came out, one was inedible and the other extremely salty to the point where it was only just edible. To be fair, the staff did offer to replace both of our meals, but we felt that the damage was done and just wanted to leave. I would strongly recommend you avoid this place, it is certainly not what it used to be. Such a huge shame.

I did expect tablecloth and chairs to be cleaner as it had not long been open for the evening. I would definitly go again but maybe ask for food not to be as spicy!

The food at this restaurant was amazing, cooked to perfection and delicious. However, the decor looked very dated and tired. The carpets were filthy and the hand dryer in the restroom did not work.
We have been here on a couple of occasions now and I cannot fault the place. The atmosphere, staff and food was all fantastic. The food is delicious and hoot. From ordering to eating was about 10-15 mins, better than so many places we’ve visited. If we were unsure of what we wanted, food was recommended and we were not disappointed. Cannot wait to visit again
