Kers Cafe - Ryedale
Kers Cafe
Description
This small café offers a variety of vegan options, including paninis and cakes, with friendly staff. The spacious seating indoors and outdoors, make it a great spot even for dog owners. While food quality and value are good, service can be slow and lacking in some cases. A minor issue with accepting Scottish currency was noted but overall, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The variety of vegan options and excellent customer service shine through, making it a top choice for vegans in town. Lovely soft bread and generous portions add to the overall appeal of this charming café.

We stopped by for lunch at this restaurant that offers a variety of vegan options on the menu. They also allow dogs inside. There is ample seating both indoors and outdoors. However, we had to wait for over 30 minutes for our food. When we inquired about the delay, we were informed about a large order, but no apology was given. The food was mediocre and the customer service was lacking. We left feeling very disappointed and have no plans to return.
The sandwiches were of low quality and took a long time to be served. I would not recommend this place nor would I visit again. The value for money was also not good. Additionally, the staff's attitude made me feel like a burden rather than a valued customer.
Called in here today for a cappuccino which when they eventually arrived were barely warm. We politely mentioned this to the two male staff who were extremely rude. This is somewhere we will definitely not be returning to and would definitely not recommend it to anyone.
I have visited this restaurant a few times now and have been very satisfied with the food and service.
