We had the avocado toast with mushroom side and potato and sweet potato haze side. we asked the pages, even if they were not listed in the menu. the mushrooms were beautiful! we also had an orange carrot ginger juice that was delicious! the service was great and helpful to find vegan options.

Beautiful salad, but the sausage roll was something too salty

I must have been there on a bad day. nothing vegan available. not even soy milk. mandelmilch in tee just doesn't make it!

Cosy and great food. Bit understaffed and it seems that the owner has to manage a lot of the staff actively and constantly. Rooms: 5 Service: 3 Location: 5

Stayed here with my partner for an evening on 16/2/25. The staff were very welcoming on our arrival and allowed us access to our room early. We stayed in the room named Roxy Poly and this was on the first floor. The room was quaint and quirky with dark walls and and a beamed ceiling. It felt very romantic with a lovely four poster bed. Excellent breakfast and I am sure we will visit and stay here again. Nearby activities: We visited the quirky cinema Kino which was such a nice experience. The whole of Rye felt like something out of a medieval fairytale with little streets and the most beautiful old houses. Mermaid street was simply stunning. Some of the streets have cobbles which maybe difficult for those with pushchairs or who are not very mobile and is on hills. Lots of quaint shops too and just such a beautiful location Food and drinks: The food at the Whitehouse was out of this world the pancakes were just to die for and were a rather large portion. We ate in the Ship Inn which was charming and the food was good . Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic
