I have eaten here a few years ago and it was nice however this mornings breakfast was really disappointing. There is one breakfast option which was good and alternative milk. There’s 1 main meal option and I think also a pizza. There was barely any food on the plate and took over 45 mins for the food (there were maybe 6 or 7 tables in and 3 waitresses). They had also not had their shipment hence the poor portion size, a few things were also missing off our plate. I think this would’ve been better IF we were told but we weren’t unfortunately. I don’t necessarily think this is an accurate representation of the pub but I was very disappointed. Updated from previous review on 2023-08-07

Lovely atmosphere. We called on the off chance, and were very pleased with the quality and service. Not a vast menu, but it was well thought through with an interesting variety. A plus for me was the smaller appetite menu. They had a good loyalty programme offering good offers.

Stopped to have lunch before my ferry crossing. Being from Birmingham we are blessed with great food but this was the best chicken burger I’ve had, clean and nice tasking and cooked perfectly Chicken and chorizo burger Service: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet
