This is a lovely hotel. The room I stayed in was spacious and offered breathtaking views. It was just a 15-minute walk to the city, with well-paved paths that made me feel safe. The service was excellent, and breakfast was quick, delicious, and well-organized. The reception staff were also very helpful, providing plenty of information. If you're looking to stay in Ambleside, this hotel is the ideal location.

My wife and I visited this restaurant a few days ago, and we were truly impressed. The setting is gorgeous, and its location is ideal, just a short stroll from Ambleside with easy access to numerous local walking paths. The room even includes guides for these walks. The breakfast was outstanding, and the staff was incredibly courteous. I highly recommend this place!

My husband and I have visited Crow How several times now, and we are never disappointed. We absolutely love it here! The staff is welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast is abundant with plenty of options. The room we stay in (the same one every time) is just wonderful—spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we need. We can't wait to come back. Thank you for making our getaway so enjoyable! xx

A small café opens only one month, so only to find their feet. mostly vegetarian, but has a decent vegan choice. the chocolate cake I find especially. the garden is nice to sit in and right next to the river. can also be reached by hopping on the bus and easy to foot from the ambleside or hit along a beautiful path. the man who runs it is really nice and chatting.

Brilliant everything we wanted from this 4star b
