Just returned from a 2 night break felt compelled to write a glowing review about the Kings Arms. We received a warm welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. If you love fantastic home made food cooked to exceptionally high standard which is locally sourced with full provenance then this is the place for you. This isn't your average menu as just about everything is made in house down to the tomato ketchup brown sauce as well as a fantastic range of smoked meats, sausages fish! We will definitely be returning ASAP.

After the Landrover Burghley Horse Trials weekend, the King's arm returned. This is our 4th visit and we booked for the next year. We love this place. The dog-friendly room where we stay is amazing with dog beds and dog treats waiting for our four-legged family members. The food in the restaurant is the best we ever tasted and so is breakfast. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Staying here makes our Burghley experience even more special, thank you.
