This is a destination, not just a stop over. Time is needed to explore this stunning place. Kedar Lodge is clearly a labour of love. The indigenous gardens and walkway are beautiful, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and joy. The monuments, sculptures and memorabilia of South African heritage are astounding in the numbers and the care taken to display them at their best. Generosity abounds.. in the comfortable room, excellent service, friendly and helpful staff and plentiful food. Superb cappuccino too. Definitely worth experiencing for yourselves!

The overall experience was pleasant and was given a silver lining by means of fabulous food offered on top of stellar customer service. Truly a hidden gem of the North West.

As a big history fan this place captured my love. It's a great place to go to learn about the SA Anglo Boer War History
