The only buffet restaurant to open in the area after restaurant rules were relaxed recently; so we were a little unsure what to expect. Thankfully it was a pleasant suprise. Lots of choice and good value at £15 per person in the evening. You have a choice of mainly Chinese dishes, a small selection of curries and few British dishes for the plate pilers! The Chinese dishes were very tasty, the Indian flavour more of N... View all feedback.
What paulbQ2673WK doesn't like about Am's:
Everything tells you their open, even the sign on the entrance door. But it's 1440 on a Wednesday and they are closed. Opening again at 1600 for evening service. Website doesn't even mention that they are closed all day Tuesday. Pathetic!!! Not happy customer at all and may not return. View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is of very poor quality. It is made with mostly cheap ingredients and lacks meat. The "spring onion" served with the crispy duck seemed to be leek instead, as it was tough. The sweet and sour chicken was mostly batter with very little chicken, and the sauce was thick and not easily pourable. Everything was greasy, indicating a heavy reliance on deep frying. There were hardly any fresh ingredients used, and the dishes lacked flavor. In conclusion, this restaurant prioritizes quantity over quality. It was a very disappointing experience.
We went for a late lunch and were seated immediately. Very friendly staff and attractive high ceiling. Everything was very clean but some of the dishes were nearly empty, and not having my glasses with me I think I missed out on some of the choices. Larger labelling would be helpful for others like me? There didn't seem to be any deserts apart from banana which I'd mistaken for prawn balls, and although there were a lots of dips sauces I was afraid of choosing the wrong one for the food I'd taken. My son comes here often and seemed to know his way around... This was excellent value at just £11.00 pp
I went along to this buffet to try it out and was not disappointed, arriving at 5 pm for the evening buffet. There were only a couple of items missing initially that arrived a short while later, but they had a very good selection of over 60 dishes from starters, Mains and puddings including a few Nepalese and Indian dishes. The only gripe was that the 2 meat noodle dishes had no meat but just the noodles and vegetables, sadly. There were many other tasty dishes to choose from, and we stayed there for 2 hours as it was not busy on this day. The staff were very friendly and took away our plates quickly after finishing each plate of food. This is a very good buffet for the price and worth a visit!!!!

Nice buffet restaurant with Good food and alot of variety. Management helpful and efficient. Good value though should up the age limit for children over 10s and over pay adult price.
