I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend this place.

I opted for the Beef Pie with chips, peas, an... read more My husband and I went to Cherry Lane for lunch today. He ordered the Senior's haddock and chips, his usual choice. I opted for the Beef Pie with chips, peas, and red cabbage. I'm not sure why they serve red cabbage? The Beef Pie seemed to have been reheated in the microwave multiple times - the pastry was solid like concrete. The chips were okay, but the pie was a disappointment. I would have been embarrassed if I served it in that condition. Overall, poor service, which is unfortunate.

When I asked for help, the attitude of the young lady serving me was absolutely unacceptable.
