Today, a group of us decided to have a quick lunch at The Manvers Arms. We were all very pleased with our experience as it was excellent. One of us chose the Manvers Arms Burger, another opted for the Halloumi Fusion Burger (a veggie option), and the last person ordered the hand-battered haddock and chips. Friendly pub with nice atmosphere and excellent gluten free options
Had an absolutely amazing night all because of such great staff! Billy truly stood out you could tell he really cared about the customers and fully enjoys his job. Couldn’t ask for a better member of staff he is a credit to your business thank you Billy
I really like this place. It's just hearty and wholesome food, no frills, no farty nonsense. Just good scran. The staff are consistently friendly and clearly know what they're doing. The atmosphere is a little bit like being in your aunt's house, a chill vibe. I went out for a vape and the waitress came out to me to tell me my food was on the table. Love that. There was three of us, we all had a main meal, shared two desserts between us, had a drink each and a coffee each £50! Tidy!

On Friday nights, the do fish and chips as 2 for £12 or 2 for £20 we had the £12 option and it was more than enough food! Cheaper than local chippy, tasted better than local chippy and we got to go out! Dog friendly and quick service.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening celebrating South African cuisine at this restaurant. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was delightful, and the value was excellent. The total cost per person was between £60 and £70. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.

I went for a Sunday roast with my partner today, and it was absolutely fantastic! The service was excellent, thanks to the wonderful staff.
Great food and service. Our little girl has a milk allergy so we said we didn't want the ice cream dessert, which was included at the time. So Phil made her a beautiful fruit salad which she loved, really going the extra mile. When we have been to other places they haven't provided an alternative.
Great night in the pop-up kitchen of perkins. wonderful eating, good service. what a good idea! the manvers is anyway a firm favourite for eating. beautiful place, beautiful people, great food. well made phil. inspired idea.
Great food and service. I have a little girl that is 7months and the staff always make the effort and interact with her unlike some places I've been.
My girlfriend and I had a lovely meal last night at the Manvers Arms. We have lived in Cotgrave for 2 years now and since Day 1 when we had a drink and Phil bought us a drink and said welcome to Cotgrave, it has been our local. We don't eat out very often and last night decided to eat out and try the food and we are really glad we did. The pub was busy with the rugby being on in the main bar and there was a large group of people in the restaurant celebrating a Birthday and with all this going on, we had excellent service from Fabia, our waitress. My girlfriend likes burgers and me, i like pie and mash, my girlfriend told me it was the best burger she had ever had, which is quite a compliment. We will definitely be eating at the Manvers again and cannot thank the staff, waitress and chef enough for making it a wonderful night
