I decided to visit on Wednesday during their "two mains for the price of one" promotion, and it was quite busy! It seems they ran out of red wine, so I ended up choosing a Merlot for my third pick, which turned out to be quite nice. We ordered popadoms for two, along with dips, two main dishes, three side dishes, and a Peshwari naan. The portion sizes were generous, the food was delicious, and there were no leftovers. The naan was also very enjoyable. Would we return? Yes, we definitely would, but now that we've tried the food, we might avoid going on promotion nights. The owner came over to chat afterward and recommended that we make a reservation in advance and ask for a table away from the main thoroughfare in the restaurant.
The staff were delightful and genuinely interested in my reason for visiting. They were charming without being overly familiar or insincere! They really hit the mark tonight. Oh! They even provided a takeaway box for my leftovers since it was getting late, and I didn’t want to overindulge—I can’t resist a good doggy bag, can I?! So now I'm all set for lunch tomorrow, too. The first time I ordered from this takeaway, they forgot my main meal, so I had to call and wait for it to be delivered. The rest of the food was pretty average, and the naan bread was cold. I wouldn't return.
